Dr. Nichole Weinstein
Board Member

According to people who have known her since childhood, Dr. Nichole Weinstein has always wanted to be a veterinarian. Dr. Nichole graduated with her pre-veterinary degree from Cal Poly, Pomona, then obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of the Philippines. She has been practicing small animal medicine since 2005 in Southern California and currently serves as Medical Director at Arrow Dog & Cat Hospital.

  • Dr. Nichole has a passion for service. She was the first veterinarian to work at the Skid Row Carnival of Love and also helped establish the veterinary services for Underdog Community Project. She was excited to see Dr. Kwane doing similar work and has been volunteering with Project Street Vet now for nearly a year.

This experience has taught her that many people are experiencing major hardships that most of us would never have to face. "It is important to stay humble and full of gratitude that we have the privilege of helping our brothers and sisters who are living on the streets.” It has taught her that she has a tribe of people who do good and are trying hard to be the best that they can be. Some of them are people living on the streets who become community helpers, while others are those serving in organizations like Project Street Vet. She feels so happy and alive when she's working with PSV.
